Germany Kent: “Never underestimate the power you have to take your life in a new direction. “

Your life will change only when you become more committed to your dreams than you are to your comfort zone. Never allow yourself to be threatened by the size of your problems. Being positive does not mean that everything will always turn out okay, but rather YOU will be okay no matter how things turn out.

When you rise with purpose, you shine with confidence. It is only when you step out in faith, leave what is familiar and go to a new foreign place to glean in new fields that favour will be found and given.

No one loses a race until they respond to the start of the gun and begin. It is equally important to have an amazing wake-up routine to enable you to set up the day for success. Organising your morning by taking care of the daily simple actions creates mental certainty in the power of the start. The value of the organisation paves the way for clarity in pursuing your dreams with a clutter-free mind.

Like this to a cup, i. e you do not only wash the outside. You have to clean that internal space to make way for building something in the external. Just as you wash your hands before eating, clear your mind before engaging with the world.

Comfort kills growth, so you must also surround yourself with people who raise the bar, not those who lower it. Do not just join a crowd that will not make you grow. Go where the expectations and the demand to perform are high. Nevertheless, you must remember not to chase growth but to embody it in the way you speak, show up and treat others. All this will flow from who you are becoming, and the outer self will reflect the strength and intention of the inner work you are doing.

Character is built little by little over days, weeks, months and years with thousands of seemingly insignificant acts of discipline. - Matthew Kelly

All big dreams have been built on small beginnings.

Imisioluwa Ajao of Building People and Businesses emphasises that the seeds of a mighty tree are tiny as as the journey of a thousand miles really does begin with one step. Her three practical truths that her own journey drove home from her LinkedIn Article on 30th May 2025 are as follows :

Start where you are with what you can. Take the first steps, no matter how tiny they are, even if your voice shakes. You do not need a perfect plan or a ton of resources to begin.

Small does not mean insignificant, and learn to serve faithfully in the small opportunities. Your small beginning lays the foundation. It is in those quiet, uncelebrated moments that you build character, skill and credibility. Never assume that your little efforts are not making an impact.

Consistency creates and compounds growth to eventually gain traction.

Consistency is the secret sauce. It is the glue that holds your small efforts together long enough for them to pay off.
Ajao’s favourite analogy is farming. She expounds how you plant seeds and water them daily, but you do not see anything for a while. It might even look like nothing is happening, but underneath the soil, the seeds are breaking open and taking root. With enough time and faithful watering, one day a little shoot pokes out. Eventually, you get a harvest.

The same goes for our goals. Consistency is the water and sunlight we plant when we start small. It is the unglamorous daily grind that leads to a tipping point.

Consistency is more than just the outward results. It is also about who you become. When you show up regularly, you become more disciplined, creative and much more confident in your voice. Embrace your small beginnings and trust the process. Every expert was once a beginner, and every thriving business was once just an idea.

Continue to stay intentional and keep your vision in mind.
Consistency is your competitive edge. Life rewards actions, not contemplation. Commitment to your daily deeds and not just dreams ensures you are more than a thinker but also a relentless doer.

Kenny Dasinger states that “Being persistent may lead you to the door, but consistency is the key that unlocks it.

From my own Nyumbani Julisha Consultants Wellness Life Coaching Desk: The shape of your becoming is in each season that moulds your tender clay into a form that learns the way. Growth is in the curve, the change and the bend.

Consistency is more than just meditation. It is showing up when nothing seems to be happening. Growth begins before the traction and only when you stay on course and build trust over time. Discipline is also the bridge between your vision and your results, to be able to hear the sound of a breakthrough. Learn to build your own bridge and cross it.

Knowledge without action is just theory. Experience is where the real learning begins. Take the plunge and put yourself in motion.
