Heartbreak and rejection — is that all you see?
Everything u write, is it only about grief and plea?
Why is every character broken in the script?
Why does every story end as if love has slipped?
And I often smile,
Because it’s other people’s stories I file.
For I think one-sided love isn’t pain,
For one, it’s the reason they stay sane.
While another remains unaware,
Still, one heart chooses to care.
According to me,
It’s the purest form of love I see.
And that should be appreciated,
Not pitied or underestimated.
Because no person can be blamed,
And it’s another’s life that’s left unnamed.
So sometimes it’s not just a “sad end,”
It’s a beautiful story with a gentle bend.
And I make sure that message is sent,
Through every work I mend.
“How do you write all these poems?” many asked
It's the sudden thoughts that appear
For which I have no answers dear.
Maybe it's the pain that's hard to tell apart
Urging me softly to pick up my pen and start
And I just listen… with an open heart.
