Nothing much lies in a face so white,
But in a heart that is pure and bright.
Learn each day and grow in knowledge,
Like healthy food, a warm, strong porridge.

If your friend buys a shiny car,
Do not compare who you are.
If you see a book that shines with light,
Respect it as it will guide you right.

When friends are busy playing ball,
They may shout your name and call.
This new age loves flashy things,
But sacred wisdom better brings.

Wisdom moves just like a wave,
Lost by some, like dropped in a cave.
Time runs fast, just like the wind,
So search for truth, try hard to find.

Study daily, don’t delay,
Knowledge will light up your way.
Drugs may look like modern style,
But they destroy life all the while.

Students and teachers, old and new,
Must hold wisdom strong and true.
Wisdom flows just like the wind,
Sacred wisdom is easy to find.
