Born to this earth the last of the siblings
Fought his way to glory from a young age
Built his kingdom out of blood, tears and sweat
Not with a silver spoon;
Yet! He made a name for himself
A down to earth and empathic man
Learned to walk the path of kindness
He became the person everyone looked up to.
A person full of compassion and love
Took everyone along in his journey;
Friends flocked, sought his help
None, he denied any aid for he felt it his duty to help.
Like a true soldier build and protected the weak ones and those desperate:
But alas! came a time for his downfall
His kingdom came crashing down:
People he trusted the most failed and left him
Alone he struggled for he was a warrior;
In loneliness, he cried and shed tears of desperation.
He suffered, for the people he took long and built up were nowhere to be seen.
God saw his suffering! Gave him the rest he deserved.
He died a lonely man
Now the Unsung hero lies buried, six foot under
His wife, his daughter awaits his return;
Life played its dirtiest trick on him.
Truly a Hero, lived to the fullest, but gone and forgotten,
His legacy lives on!
Rest well, Unsung Hero, your job here on earth is done
Rest well!
