Stanford students walked out when Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, started his commencement speech. The gr was held on 14 June, 2026. Around 200 Stanford graduates walked out and held the Palestine Flag. Students were chanting “Free, Free Palestine” to protest against Google’s Contract with the Israeli Government. It’s a Project Nimbus Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence Contract Which held between Google, Amazon and the Israeli Government in 2021, and it’s still active. It’s a huge project, around $1.2 billion. Actually, it’s a project of providing Israel and its military with Artificial Intelligence and Cloud services.
The walkout was held by Students for Justice in Palestine and No Tech for Apartheid. The statement held was : “We don’t need another tech billionaire to tell us how to get rich off of the killing and surveillance of Palestinians.” The Students are thinking that this project will be used in a ways to harm Palestinians. Stanford Students also targeted the contract with U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
On the other hand, Sundar Pichai’s speech was of his personal story of Chennai and his early days building Chrome. He gave three pieces of advice: Choose optimism, Work on Hard things, and Do what excites you. Sundar Pichai notably sidestepped the issue of Artificial Intelligence. He said: “People thought it would be really difficult for me.” He added, “It is the last two letters of my last name, after all.”
It is not clear that all the Students who walk out have the same purpose. But some of them were holding Palestine Flags, and chanting “Free, Free Palestine.”
In the past, many issues have arisen. Students booed other CEO because of AI. The bad impact of Artificial Intelligence on Jobs.
Venture capitalist Vinod Khosla called the walkout: “Baised, Idiotic, short-sighted and very selfish.” Congressman Ro Khanna pushed back and said the students were exercising there right to free expression and challenging authority.
It’s like the Gaza War spilling over into Campus Politics. Stanford Students use there Graduation Ceremony to make that point p.

Israel and Palestine become a global conflict when Israel start harming Palestine since October 2023. Since then, to stop the Israeli government from doing this stupidity, many protests have occurred all over the world. It’s not a matter of religion or country. It’s a matter of Humanity. It’s like Israel is made Human, but does not remain human. To stop this evil thing, New Generation step forward: the power of Youth and Social Media. This Generation is beyond different from others. They can’t keep quiet even in the wrong because of powerful ones. If someone is doing wrong, it’s necessary to stand against them. Even if someone is taking their side or helping them, they will be equally responsible.
Stanford University is a Big platform. And Students know their Student Power. As the Students know that The Contract between Google, Amazon, and the Israeli Government. And they properly understand what they want. How can the right one be quiet? How can we listen to one who is already on the edge of humanity, no matter how successful or rich they are? The Stanford Graduates step out of the Ceremony Because they know they can pass their message to the whole world from this big platform. The chanting “Free, Free Palestine” is the proof that they don’t accept any kind of evilness or anything which help Israel to do these kind of stuff.
We all know Israel has great power and what kind of support they have; the incident that happened on Sunday is proof that no matter how rich and powerful you are, you can’t stop the actions and voices. Even this little step will be forgotten by society in a few days, but we don’t have to forget that Small steps generate Big Changes. If we stop accepting the Wrong, society has to accept the Right. The y to u to make this World a better place. A place of Humanity, Not the place of Power And Evil. The soc to Accept it. There is no other choice for them.
As a Youth we shouldn’t stop raising o, we shouldn’t stop doing right, Even it’s take time.
Stanford Student did that walkout because they know we are the Future. If someone know there worth, it will be easy for them to take a step. To accomplish what’s right.
We all know even what they do, it will not stop Israel do that idiotic thing. The Project Nimbus will still carry on. Nothing will change. But it’s a clear message to them that the Youth is not with them and they will not admit it. This will stop them one day. Because Youth is the Heart of society, and the body is nothing without his Heart.
