Gori Again is just a song, or it might be the latest Hindi pop song. It's been hardly one month since I listened to it on YouTube. For youth, it might be just a song they randomly listened to. But for me, it's a spark from my past. For a minute, I clicked on that song link many times. The title delivered "Gori Again." I was amazed, shocked, excited, and re-ignited by watching Band of Boys. As a Bollywood lover, I am familiar with the thrilling experience of watching old actors performing again in the cinema. How it observes and how that connects directly with our hearts without putting any extra effort into the connection between a celeb and audience mindset.
What comes directly into my mind without listening to the "Gori Again" song deliberately is, " Really, they are a Band of Boys who sang that song, "Meri Neend Udd Gayi Hain"?"
Mature looks of Sudhanshu Pandey, Karan Oberoi, Chitu Bhosle, and Sherrin Varghese knocked on the door of my mind that it was a band of boys again on the floor singing.
BAND OF BOYS ORIGIN:
Karan Oberoi's idea formed with the sensational brand new face of Sudhanshu Pandey within the mixture of the aura of Chintu Bhosle under the spark of the energetic and technical mindset of Sherrin Varghese. These four pillars are the same, but the sweetness of Siddharth Haldipur has now disappeared from a band of boys re-igniting and replaced with Danny Fernandes.
This band is not well-documented online, making it challenging for authors to provide factual information about them. However, the limited information about this group makes the memories and experiences associated with their music all the more valuable.
Memory is a great treasure. So come with me on a musical treasure hunt. A band of boys is waiting. Band of Boys' official first album, Ye Bhi Wo Bhi, was released in 2002, and the second was Gaane Bhi Do Yaaro in 2006.
The first album consists of 7 songs and the second album consists of 8 songs. In total, there were fifteen songs spread across the two albums. These songs had a lasting impact on us, often getting stuck in our heads and touching our hearts. The charisma of the singers affected us deeply, and even after twenty years, we still feel the same sensations and excitement that we experienced during our teenage years.

They are the first Indian boy's musical band in the Indi pop/Hindi pop industry.
They formed in 2002 and disappeared when Sudhanshu Pandey and Siddharth Haldipur left that group. It's a group of five, so it is difficult for a band to survive, the way they occupied us. In between these three left guys, Karan, Chintu, and Sherrin, in addition to Danny, composed five more songs, which you can find on YouTube.
Those songs are as follows, Ghanta the Bell, Kisi Din, Nain Ladalein, Yuhin Jalne ko, Dil Sarphira. I was shocked by watching the band act in the movie Kiss Kis Ko in 2004, and I was unaware of it. You can watch that on YouTube. Danny joined this group in 2018. Sudhanshu and Siddharth re-joined it in 2024. They are back on the floor with the Gori Again song. And by the time they performed many stage shows too, more than 1000.
NOSTALGIA:
For youth, it's so easy to listen to the latest tracks, so they forget the essence and impacts of old fragrances of music compositions and the value, dedication, and emotional attachment of singers with the soul of music and the soul of the audience. Nowadays, music is more fond of electronic and complex to remember and capture the lyrics.
I am not talking about Bollywood music here. It's a different platform.
Nowadays, in the pop industry music, the tune is overpowering the ethics and soul of the lyrics.
At present, music lovers do not belong to the era of TV, radio, and cassettes. They are just one click away from their Android mobile to listen to the songs. I still remember only Meri Neend and Gori's song more deeply of a band of boys. On TV, they are in repetitive mode, and further songs if they come on TV, I might miss those to listen to. We belong to that period when our teenage quality time used to be with beautiful, slow, soothing, and harmonic music compositions of Indian pop. Every singer and album has different potential. Still, we can recall their names with their song. Even what kind of visuals we have watched in that particular song. In Bollywood, at that moment, we have to understand the singers by listening to their voices. Albums are a fantasy for us to watch those singers with their faces. The craziness of us as an audience is far more intense and beyond what we are watching on social media. Most music albums used to be with one singer or rarely two. But this band of boys(ABOB) is a group of five. That created stunning history in the audience's mind by delivering exciting songs. That excitement level hasn't dropped from our hearts till now. In Anupama, when I saw Vanraj Shah for others, maybe an actor because serials and landmarks for aunties and ladies belong to the older generation. But for me, the first expression is meri neend udd gayi , a band of boys. To my mother, I need to tell her a co-host of cook it up with Tarla Dalal. They all are amazing actors beyond just singers, and there is much more creativity within them that makes them down to earth. You have seen them in many serials and movies. Sudhanshu and Karan are great actors with their natural acts. Sherrin is excellent in music flavors. Danny is an expert choreographer. Chintu Chaitanya Bhosle is the grandson of Asha Bhosle, so he belongs with singing aura with him. Sidhharth now works as a music composer with duet Sangeet-Siddharth, giving us hits like murder2 songs.
As time passed, they formed Xenabob in collaboration with the Nexus band in 2007.
ABOBINDIA-REIGNITE:
Gori Again, this song is a milestone for a band of boys in the present Indipop music industry. The success of their reunion won our hearts, and now millions of youth are attracted to their real music.

It created magic instantly, and Sochna kya did fabulous.
