Being individuals, to reach adulthood, and while we do so, we advance and acquire skills that will benefit us later in life. Many of us feel as though this transition is just something that happens naturally, but research reveals that some people find themselves caught in this process and are unable to continue, while others are entirely absorbed by it and just move through a stage without even realizing it, leaving the lesson behind. Every living thing is currently going through this phase; even a newborn baby has already begun this type of process. Life is divided into four stages: early life from birth to adolescent, adolescence to adulthood, mature adulthood to adulthood, and late-life from late adulthood to death.

The second stage of life is the one that presents the greatest difficulty. In this period, adolescence, early adulthood, and adulthood are all combined. It was a time when the majority of youths and those going through adolescence struggled to identify their true aspirations and ambitions. The majority of those going through this stage are becoming adventurous and trying new things to realize their actual identities, which is a difficult stage for young adults. The person going through this period of life will be able to overcome them and advance to maturity if they are going to learn and mature via the things that they experience and discover. It can teach us how to be more aware of our surroundings, be able to distinguish things, make independent decisions, have confidence in life, categorize things based on whether they are right or wrong, and choose the right course of action in every situation. This is true for adolescents as well as middle-aged adults. If I were to identify and characterize the period of my life I am in right now, I would say that I am a young adult since I believe I have moved past the teenage years when everything I did was impulsive and without thought.

I now understand that the struggles and difficulties I went through were simply the starts of many difficult stages of life. Although I am only a student and have just turned nineteen, I believe that my adolescent years are over and that I am now a young adult. I'm currently in the stage of early adulthood where I have several inquiries regarding life and its meaning. I'm now searching for my own identity, as well as the purpose of my existence and my true ambitions. I am confident that as my life develops, I will continue to grow and learn a great deal more about it. As I move through these many stages, the things, difficulties, and obstacles I face will help me develop and get through the upcoming challenges. And as I move through these phases, I'll be able to get to know myself deeply, which can give me the strength to keep moving forward in life.
