Sorrow and sadness, fright and fear
Strength and weakness is all I hear
But for a moment, can the world stop
And put the bottom rail on top?
Would it be so hard to see a world,
Where everyone is the cream of the crop?
Would it be too late to comprehend that,
The pride and prejudice is now,
But the snow on the mountain top.
If only we thought for a minute about
The blues of being given the chop;
The spur in reaching the top;
The fury in blowing one’s top;
The joy in seeing a jaw drop,
We would know that
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It is but the journey that must be traveled
As not for a moment does it stop:
For the only thing constant is that life goes on.
