I want to cycle in the evening,
But, I cannot.
I want to eat healthy,
But I’m compelled to eat junk everyday.
I wish to play hide and seek with my child,
But that wish remains a wish.
I wish to have trivial talks with my family,
That too is an unfulfilled wish.
In festivals I wish to be in home with a merry mind,
But mind hovers only around the official mails
Is this the progress I ever dreamt of?
Is this the life I ever wanted?
Where health and happiness is traded with money
It’s time to halt and ponder,
Whether in my child’s diary I wish to be a lovely father,
Or, a mere cash machine with no emotions
