At some point in our life, we must hear that money is secondary. But all this sounds good only in theory. The reality is that living without money in today's modern world is as possible as setting fire to water. Yet, only money can not be said omnipotent. Money plays important role in society in various ways. Like in education, business, job, for soothing life and for basic needs of our life.

What is money?

In the ancient era, people relied on a barter system then followed by coins and then convert into currency notes. Money is perhaps the most unique invention of human beings. It is a very essential thing but it is not everything. It is the only source by which we can complete our needs in life. In short, we can say that money is a similar word for facilities. Why do we need money?

We have to ask one question that why do we need money? The answer is quite clear that money is only the thing that satisfies the needs of our life, from the smallest to the greatest. In the older days, people used to get things instead of other things but in today's age of inflation, money is needed step by step for food, clothes, school, college, hobbies, a safe home, television, mobile or anything else can't come into our hands without money.

It is also true that money is only a source to fulfill our basic needs. It can never take place of our feelings, love and relationships. By money, we can buy everything whatever we want except eternal happiness. However, money is powerful it can't give us soul's joy. It can make our life easier by luxury and artificial things but joy comes out from our inner conscience. The following image prove it.

Generally, we have three basic necessities of life.

1.  Food to eat.
2. Clothes to wear.
3. House to live in.

We don't need to dream of becoming millionaires but we need to earn money to make our daily life accessible. A nutritious diet is also essential for good health. Currently, the situation is very dire. people don't even get food twice in a day. It has become too difficult for people to living below the poverty line to survive.

According to the state of Food Security and Nutrition,

An estimated 820 million people did not have enough to eat in 2018 .

The world bank reported that, About 9.2% of the world or 689 million people, live in extreme poverty on less than $1.90 a day.

As suggested by Hunger Map, Everyday too many men and women across the globe struggle to feed their child a healthy meal. In the world where we produce enough food to feed everyone, 821 million people- one in nine still go to bed on an empty stomach each night. Even more- one in three suffer from some form of malnutrition.

From this information we can understand that lack of money can make life as scary as nightmare.

•  To Make Future Optimum:-

The love of money is like putting glasses of greed on the eyes of man. So that the man comes to the last level of his character that not even a drop of truth can be found in them. Today's intelligent man has also made education a field of business. Every parents want to give their child a good education. For this one has to take admission in higher schools. From this we can conclude that only the affluent class can educate their children in higher institutes. Because millions of people are unable to meet their daily needs, so the question of getting a good education never arise in their mind.

In short, if you have money, you can educate your child in big instructions where all kinds of facilities are available. We all know that the foundation of learning must be strong to make good career. It is believed that highly educated teachers can provide good education to students. A higher quality of education means proper guidance, matiriyals and well structured atmosphere of educated students and it is dependent on the amount of money.

Even if you want to make your future brighter by doing business, you have to invest money. The more money we invest, the bigger business will be. The business is itself the field of investment. You get benefit when the market is booming. Sometimes there is loss rather than a gain but sometime the risk has to be borne.

To sum up, we can say that if you have money, you can achieve anything which will be the main cause of your bright future.

What do the Vedas Say about Money?

According to our Vedas, we should earn as much money as we need. Making money and having fun is not the only way to have a good life. Everyone lives for themselves but just try to live for others, your soul will be really happy.

Generally, according to the purana, we should donate 10% of our income so that good deeds can be done by this precious human incarnation. It is a well known fact that good things always happen to those who do good deeds.

We should spend seven to eight hours a day to earn money. It is said that make and save money slowly because the craze to do right away prove to be the downfall of man.

Yajurveda 40/1:

"ईशा वास्यमिदम् सर्वमयत्यिञ्च जगत्यांजगत
तेन त्यत्केन भुंजीथा मा गृधः कस्य स्विद्वनम् ।"

According to yajurveda (40.1), One's wealth should not be plundered by doing wrong because God is omnipresent in all inanimate and conscious object of the world. He is watching our every action so should always be auspicious. Wealth and riches should be used sparingly. In short money should be earned in a good way.

Atharv Veda 3/24/5:

"शतहस्त समाहर सहस्त्रहस्त संकिर ।"

This shloka defines that 'Earn with hundred hands and donate with thousand.' It means that a person should earn a lot of money with a hundred hands and donate the same money with a thousand hands, so man should show generosity.

In this world, people work hard to earn money for thirteen to fourteen hours. They neither spend time with family nor with ownself and whole day brain just runs behind the business and work load. For balancing life, man should spend some time with family and friends. We have to discuss with our family for such matters like how the day was spent, what was done, children should be taken care of, Family problems... etc... Otherwise due to greed everything except money is become difficult to get back.

Benefits of Money

Many people often say that appreciate what you have and don't abuse it. Now imagine that you have a lot of money and on the other hand a small child is selling balloons on the street. This small child, like tender flower, does work in the age of learning. It's getting late and sun is getting ready to go home but the little boy's many balloons aren't sold yet, so there is sadness on his face. Only think... if it is your child! We don't let a single scratch come on our baby. In this world so many children who are working alone and nobody is there for their safety. Now your heart guide you to buy all the balloons. After you buy those balloons, you will see a wonderful joy on the face of that child which is more special than the property of billions.

• What a joy it is to see such a happy child! For me, in that child I can see the true God who is absolutely pure. That is the real benefit of money. You can change the hell into the heaven.

• Money can gives us freedom. If you are financial independent you can satisfy your needs as well as other need. You can live in your own way.
• We can make our dreams come true. Many people have to give up their dreams due to lack of money. We can't fulfill only our goals but also can help others to reach at the destiny.
• Make others smile and keep smiling yourself. God will never let you be hurt, if you help others . God knows the true happiness is in being the cause of happiness of others. Many organisations are working for lower class people. They try to help for health, education, food , other essential services and ..Etc...

Downsides of Money:

• Money hasn't a negative side but we use it for fulfilling our bad intentions. So lets the negative side of money or human characters.
• The lure of money makes a man evil. Humans are always hungry for wealth. For that reason they can kill anyone. Murder, theft, corruption, black money, bankruptcy, online Frau, cheating..Etc.. are gift of acute hunger of money.
