More cherished than childhood's embrace,

My heart adores the dance of youth,
A sentiment shared by all, we embrace
Its allure, is nestled within life's truth.
In uniform with bag and tiffin in tow,
On a single seat, our world took its shape.
Exchanging love with mates to and fro,
Fortune smiled upon us, a shared landscape.
Selfless love in our innocent days,
Yet, selfish strides we had to make.
Friends now distant or near in separate ways,
Yet, in their absence, our hearts ache.
Underneath the tree where secrets were sworn,
In the playground echoes of laughter were born.
Golden memories like treasures we hold,
In the album of youth, each page unfolds.
