Anger blazes like a storm-tossed flame,
A spark that leaps, too wild to tame.
It crackles loudly with every breath,
A dance of pride, a hint of death.
Its voice is sharp, its steps are fast,
It feeds on memories from the past.
A tongue of heat, a flash of red,
It burns the bridge's words once led.
But calmness flows like gentle rain,
Soft on the earth, soothing pain.
A stream that whispers through the mind,
With every drop, it makes us kind.
It doesn’t shout, it doesn’t fight,
It cools the soul with quiet light.
Like the moon on the lake, or morning dew,
It holds the world in a softer view.
One destroys, the other mends
Two emotions, two old friends.
One teaches strength, one teaches peace,
Together, they make wholeness increase.
So when fire rises, wild and bold,
Let water speak, clear and cold.
For in their dance, both fierce and fair,
We find the balance hidden there.
