I have a basket of memories,
Though people think it holds only old toys,
It's soft and lovely,
Its color is brown, so I call it "Browny."
It smiles at me and looks so cheery,
I sleep with my Teddy Bear, never weary.
Friends may cheat or tease,
But our friendship is truly nice,
I kiss it daily thrice.
I can't give it to anyone,
No one can take it from me,
It's only mine, soft and fine, you see.
I thank my mother,
Who gave me this lovely, timeless gift,
If you ask for it, I must uplift.
How beautiful my childhood was,
When toys filled life's every pause,
Today, life itself is a toy,
Let's play a game, find joy,
It took so long not to laugh unnecessarily.
