The future of our nation is indeed our youths but the youths are not equipped for the upcoming eras. The root cause of the education crisis is the lack of emphasis on the four C’s (Critical thinking, Collaboration, Communication, and Creativity). The report published by the Institute of Development Studies in Kolkata gives a bleak image of the underemployment status of India which tends to be an outcome of the problems present in the Educational Society. Indian Education system has had a huge leap over the years but this pace might not help our present-day youths to become employable in the succeeding work environment. An overall analysis of the four C‘s might help in understanding the problem at the core level.

Critical thinking tends to be an important component of the Four C‘s. Critical thinking makes a student more independent and self-reliant. this self-reliance makes them lead a progressive life in the future and thus being the micro architects of tomorrow’s economic world. The critical thinking process helps a student to make his SWOT analysis (Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats). The critical thinking process enables to connect theory classes with the practical sessions and hence they help in achieving great success with the exam results. The process of learning starts from the ability to answer questions until students question themselves, they don’t learn things in life. Critical thinking can be inculcated to the young generations only when teachers become facilitators. [2] UNESCO published an alarming report in which it reported that by 2030 India would have 30 crore youths but the worrying conclusion is that more than 50 percent are in the unemployable category. to avoid the education crisis, we need to enter a new trajectory. [3] This new trajectory should focus on converting teachers to facilitators, this is the main agenda of the Education 2030 model formulated by the United Nations. Creativity gets evolved during the process of Critical thinking.

Creativity is the backbone of any civilization, starting from the invention of wheels to the invention of satellite launch vehicles it was creative imagination that changed the pace of the world, this ideology was widely accepted by the great scientist Albert Einstein thus tempting him to say Imagination is better than knowledge. Indian standards in creative thinking have surged in the last decade. Comparative analysis. Creative thinking helps the student to think of Option C rather than sticking to option A and option B. Lack of Creative thinking is another reason for India being called an Underemployed nation. [4] Dr. Akhil Shahani, Managing Director of the Shahani group narrates a story about a graduate getting into sales for 2.5 lakh per annum due to the non-availability of jobs in the care sector. [5] The CMIE, Mc Kinsey, or any certified organization has not conducted a survey on underemployment conditions in India, hence a concrete conclusion cannot be formulated. creativity and critical thinking go hand in hand therefore forming a collaborative network with a mix of creative people and Critical thinkers is essential for any kind of work.

Collaboration has played a huge role in the past and it is still playing a pivotal role in industry 2.0. the recent article by the Hindu gives us an overview of the impact and importance of Collaborative work. The article segregates facts from fiction and concluded that international collaboration during primary and secondary schooling can give the head start required by the students to achieve their future goals. collaborative learning boosts the confidence of the individual and it refines the quality and improves the quantity of the output, this is achieved since the evaluation of the work is done multiple times by the peers which leave no or less scope for errors. Collaborative learning considers teachers as paramount and they should act look tools to carry out the learning exercise in a fun manner. The other side of this effective collaborative learning is that they end by being more entertaining rather than educative. teachers or faculty members involved in this activity must make sure the outcomes are clearly stated and rules should not be flouted during the learning process. [6]Collaboration, in general, helps us to attain another perspective of the same argument. Department of Community Health of, Tufts University, Medford, United States of America conducted community-based participatory research and found out that more than 79 percent choose collaborative learning as a positive trend in the Education Industry. [7] Communication lays the building blocks for Collaboration and we create an identity to the outside world through the way we speak.

Communication is paramount when it comes to students’ life. The success of academics is the solid development of communication skills. Better communication skills help us to be more confident and indirectly it helps in boosting our self-esteem. ultimately communication skills help us to phrase better questions which intern improves the level of critical thinking and critical thinking makes us creative resulting in effective collaboration between students of different communities.
