We introduce ourselves as ‘People’s Reflections’, a Platform made for people where one can express views, opinions, and thoughts on any subject. We believe that competitions are the best way to motivate talented people to present their thoughts and encourage their talent before a large audience.

We are happy to announce once again a ‘Writing Competition’ for the month of August-2022 and invite budding writers, journalists, students, and authors to express their views.

After organising writing competitions on versatile topics, we have thought of attempting an exceptional theme for the August 2022 Competition i.e. "Animal Rescue, Care, and Welfare". Any topic apart from the "Animal Rescue, Care, and Welfare" theme will not be accepted. We hope, our writers will appreciate and enjoy writing something different this time.

Theme:
"Animal Rescue, Care, and Welfare"

In today’s world, the interest of humans in animals and their well-being has increased vastly. Yet, this strange phenomenon has evidently existed since ancient times. The only difference is that we humans now have become more aware of our duties and responsibilities toward animals and nature, after destroying them for a very long time. In its simplest form, we have realized that animal welfare refers to the relationship humans have with animals and the duty they have to assure that the animals under their care are treated humanely and responsibly. We at Peoples’ Reflections also invite our writers to write and lend their voice to these beautiful gifts of nature who can’t speak our language. We invite you to express your views exclusively and extensively on the theme – "Animal Rescue, Care, and Welfare"

Participants can select any of the following topics from this theme or if they are not comfortable with the below topics, they can select any other topics of their wish regarding the theme of "Animal Rescue, Care, and Welfare".

  • The stories of animal rescues!
  • Famous or lesser-known animal rescuers of India or abroad.
  • History of domestication of animals.
  • Current events of animal cruelty.
  • The role of animal welfare in dealing with animal killings and cruelty.
