As we are aware that most of the youth are settling around at the age of 30 and 32 and once, they are confident of their jobs and then only they marry and they wanted to give everything for their children and they wish to fulfill all the aspirations of their child and it is quite common phenomena everywhere. We need to appreciate their concern and about the future of their children as well.
We have seen the quite unexpected COVID-19 disturbance create havoc in almost all families and many families last their dear ones. It was really shocking to everyone to digest the unforeseen circumstances. After covid19 also after effect, we have seen people below 40 years are prone to heart attacks and it is being all of a sudden and in majority cases there was not any hope of survival. In the name of Fitness many are going to Gyms and they are doing to make the body fit.
We know about Puneeth Rajkumar breathed his lost at 46 in October 2021 and similarly Mr Taraka Ratna breathed his last due to heart attack and he could not recover in spite of the better treatment given in hospital in February 2023. WE see similar incidents around our neighborhood and among known fellow mates. After post Covid-19 the resistance power among most of us is declining and we are prone to health issues and it is very much alarming. Nearly 15 lakhs of people are dying in India due to heart attacks. Out of 10 admitted in hospital the survival ratio being only one percent and it is quite alarming.
Stemi (ST-elevation myocardial infarction or windowmaker is the most serious type of heart attack as per Dr Venkatesh TK of Apollo Hospital and he further said these heart attacks have become increasingly rampant in recent years.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure that can help and save a person’s life if their breathing or heart stops. The government of Telangana is planning to train on CPR procedures and they will in turn can save the lives to some extent. Every family should know the procedure of the CPR and save their own family members from heart attacks.
People who are working as software engineers on online mode and everything changed drastically. Everyone is now conscious about their health and fitness. Too much stress and workload they may not be in a position to handle and the working hours being very long in most of the cases it is between 10 hours to sometimes 12 hours sitting on the computer and working without any kind of rest and they hardly get any leave for their offices. If they work like this, they may be exhausted by they reach their age around 50 and they cannot work anymore as they have exhausted their career in stress and strain of the software jobs.
No one should not neglect their health and they should take the health and life insurance for all the family members by taking the proper advice form the health and financial advisers. The insurance should be for a higher amount. We do hear for any major operations the hospital is charging from 25 lakhs to even up to 50 lakhs and we even don’t know due to it may even cross to 1 crore as quite unexpected disease or rare health disorder may pile up in later stages. Postal Savings: Now the present post offices have a number of savings schemes for the children and we need to take those and the rate of interest is comparatively more in postal savings. We need to work out all the possibilities of savings for the remaining retired life.
We need to prepare well and it is advisable to have yearly health checkups and it is a must and we will know well in advance if we are having any health issues, we may take proper medicines on the advice of the doctors. Sugar problem and hypertension problem.
if they want to be admitted in a good reputed institution, it will be starting from 1.5 lakhs for PP1to around 3 lakhs per annum. As we have discussed earlier no parent is compromising on children education unlike earlier parents used to admit in above average schools based on their incomes. Most of the software employees are earning mostly from the range of 15 lakhs to 36 lakhs per annum and they wish to admit their children as per their income criteria. On the other extreme most of the underemployed youth are getting Rs. 25000 to Rs. 30000 per month and it will not be sufficient to send their children to Public Schools and International Schools and they prefer to send their children to nearby Budget schools where the fee will range from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 25000 per year.
The people who are earning on daily wages have no option to send to these private schools and they send to the Government Schools. IN Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the standard of education has been improved considerably and they are equally competing with the private students. In Andhra Pradesh they are giving much importance to education and infrastructure wise and quality wise they are doing the best in education in YSR government.
Parents want to give much comfort to them as the present generation children are very smart and they adopt the new technologies very fast. Sometimes the grandparents have to learn from them the new technologies and even sometimes the English language as well. These are the positive things about them and they have a bright future ahead. We need to teach them life skills and adversities as well. It is going to help them in facing the challenges and must know the problems of the children who are living below the poverty line. We need to train them to face any kind of eventualities and ups and downs in life.
Here we need to focus on our savings and we should save at least 30 percent of the salaries per month either in fixed deposits by way of purchasing plots for their future needs. As the children's education will be a very costly affair and after their Graduation, most of the parents are willing to send their wards to foreign countries in particular US or UK or Australia. Children are very smart enough and they can certainly withstand the challenges and will certainly prove their mettle in achieving the goals.
As we understand after 50 years the software employees cannot work as they will be exhausted and they need to plan for the rest of their life in a systematic manner. As we know the recession worldwide continues and the person who can execute multiple talents and skills can only be retained by the employers. The retired life should be dignified and they should not depend on children’s earnings to the maximum extent and that gives some kind of satisfaction. Except the PF savings employees may not be getting any other benefits and keeping this in view everyone should be cautious and should save money for their children's education and marriages. To own a flat a house is not an easy task in cities unless and until we pay nearly one crore, we may get a flat to live in.
One has to plan meticulously for the future keeping all constraints and difficulties in their journey along with her better half. If Both Husband and wife take equal responsibilities, things and finances will be in their control, as we know pretty well that two bullocks should go in one direction to reach the desired goal.
