In faraway Japan, long ago,
Lived a dog with love to show.
His name was brave Hachikō,
With a fluffy tail and fur like snow.

Each morning, to the train they’d go,
His owner waved, “See you,
though!” Each evening at the station
gate, Hachikō sat and chose to wait.

But one sad day, his friend was gone.
The train came back—but not his
own. Still, every day, through sun and
rain, He waited there in hope, not pain.

For many years, he stayed so true,
with a loyal heart and love so new.
The people saw and came to say,
“That faithful dog waits every day.”

His story tells both you and me,
Be kind, be loyal, and be true.
For love that’s deep and love that’s
strong, will shine within your heart lifelong.
