Smartphones in hand are always connected,
Reality blurred is digitally injected.
Back in the 90s phones were big and clunky,
With buttons to push, screens weren't funky.
Now In the 20s phones are sleek and smart,
With touchscreens and apps, they are a work of art.
Fashion in the 90s was all about being baggy,
Huge pants and shirts the look was quite shaggy.
But now in the 20s, it's all about being sleek,
Skinny jeans and fitted shirts with a touch of modern chic.
Back in the 90s waiting for the internet was a bore,
Dial-up connections made us snore.
But now in the 20s internet is super fast,
Streaming music and videos is a blast from the past.
Socializing in the 90s meant landline calls,
Talking to friends, hanging out in the halls.
But in the 20s it's all about social media,
Chatting online connected with an encyclopedia.
In the 90s finding info was quite a quest,
Encyclopedias and libraries where people used to invest.
But now in my 20s, it's just a Google away,
Answers to questions in the palm of our day.
In the 90s life moved at a different pace,
People met face to face not just through cyberspace.
Conversations were long laughter filled the air,
Friendship deepened over meals showing care.
Likes and comments replace a heartfelt chat,
Yet loneliness gathers in this digital habitat.
In the 90s patience was a God's gift prized,
Now instant gratification is idealized.
90s kids flipped through pages escaping in a book,
20s kids scroll through feeds each post a new look.
Yet in laughter and dreams in joy and strife,
Both generations are bound by the thread of life.

Yet I am part of 20s kids but whenever my parents used to tell me about the lives they lived during the 90s, I crave and imagine myself in those days of 90s.
But, Still the kindness and empathy, timeless traits,

Bridge the gap between these differing states.
