Dear Mr. Potter,
Your novel series are not just a fantasy to me, but an entire new sphere of magic and sorcery, which works as a door for me to escape the tedious and nondescript world I am encircled by. Many people, including me, are obsessed with your intriguing adventures and fascinating explorations!
Being the only one who survived Voldemort at such a young age with such vigor, you truly are my hero whom I always look up to! You must have suffered a lot since the day you were left on the doorstep of number four, Privet drive where your aunt and uncle, and that chubby annoying Dudley, the entanglers of your life, lived in. But praise the heavens that sent Hagrid (the most lovable person one could ever ask for) to you and helped you escape that living hell!
Just like your parents, you became a Gryffindor, and bloomed into such an exceptional person, and became everyone’s treasured (especially Professor Dumbledore’s!) The fact that the Sorting Hat wanted to put you in Slytherin was quite a thought-provoking inner conflict as both the houses are like apples and oranges.
But, you know what, the thing I appreciate about you the most is that unlike Professor Gilderoy Lockhart.
You don’t really care about the fame you've got since birth. You haven’t let the flame go to your mind. You are the exemplary example of the saying "One can touch the sky by staying on the ground :)”. But, CAUTION! The day you start bragging about your acts of power, I’ll know about the “Polyjuice potion” involved!
He-he! Jokes apart, you are indeed a true warrior by flashing your light in everything you do. You’ve led to such magnanimous acts of audacity and grit that have ameliorated the lives of many (not to mention the assassination of he who must not be named!) But don’t forget the “Real YOU” when the spotlight of power is on. Every accomplishment should be celebrated with humility and meekness. Because in the long run, what matters is not the power or money you’ve got, but the morals, friends and family you earned!
Furthermore, I would always recommend you staying away from Draco, that two-dimensional bully! I’ve got a nasty feeling about him! After all, it’s better to be a lion for a day than a DRACO for a lifetime!
Apart from this, you taught me that, sometimes, it is completely fine to be terrified. Things do not always turn out our way, but they fall into the right places at the right time. What matters is the choices we make, to be humble and accept all the adversaries we face, because life goes on and on ~
Another requisite quality of yours which I find extremely captivating, is that you are perfectly imperfect. You are not the clichéd protagonist of a mere novel series who is admired for his flawlessness. I idolize you because you are not one of those. You are flawed. You make mistakes, but you accept them and learn from them. The reflective nature of your character, rebellious nature, and sarcastic quips that you make in difficult times, as well as the imaginings you do when you get electrified, never fail to amaze me. Your dreams are insanely sane, but at the same time you put blood, sweat and tears into making them a reality.
In closing, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for shaping me into the person I am today. My fears were conquered by your acts of wisdom and fortitude. Having you as a role model motivated me to always think out of the box each time. No matter how difficult things got, you taught me not to lose hope until the very end.
Hope you do oodles of great things ahead and accomplish all the euphoria in life, and continue inspiring me! Have an awesome time at Hogwarts!!
Goodbye!
Warm Regards,
A Potterhead
