It was the day of summer. I was sweating like anything. Our AC was not working in our home hence it was like a natural Owen. I was planning to eat tons of ice cream but my mother did not allow me to eat any ice cream.
So I started looking at ice cream pictures thinking that I would feel a little bit cold but that didn't go with my thoughts. I will still look at the pictures of ice creams. That day I came across a picture of types of ice creams and was shocked to know that there were so many types of ice creams that I had never heard of or eaten. These are some types of ice creams that I found interesting:
Gelato: it is the common word in Italian for all kinds of ice cream.
Soft serve: it is also known as soft ice, is a frozen dessert, similar to ice cream, but softer
Sorbets: it is a frozen dessert made using ice combined with fruit juice.
Dondurma: it is Turkish mastic ice cream
I Tim pad: it is also known as rolled ice cream, is a sweetened frozen dessert
Spaghettieis: Spaghettieis, or spaghetti ice cream, is a German ice cream dish made to resemble a plate of spaghetti.
Halvah: it is a type of confectionery originating from Persia and widely spread throughout the Middle East and South Asia
Paletas: An ice pop is a liquid/cream-based frozen dessert on a stick.
āJā Cone: The cones are made of puffed corn
Kulfi: it is a frozen dairy dessert from the Indian subcontinent
Pagoto: Ice cream is a frozen dessert typically made from milk or cream that has been flavoured with a sweetener, either sugar or an alternative, and a spice, such as cocoa or vanilla, or with fruit, such as strawberries or peaches.
Fried ice cream: The dessert is commonly made by taking a scoop of ice cream frozen well below the temperature at which ice cream is generally kept, possibly coating it in raw egg, rolling it in cornflakes or cookie crumbs, and briefly deep frying it.
Mochi ice cream: Mochi ice cream is a confection made from Japanese mochi (pounded sticky rice) with an ice cream filling.
Ice Cream Sandwich: An ice cream sandwich is a frozen dessert consisting of ice cream between two biscuits, wafers, cookies, or baked goods.
After this, I wondered that we feel cold and happy after eating ice cream but what else does the ice cream give us? So I found the pros of eating ice cream.
Pro: It's a source of vitamins and minerals
Pro: There are ways to make your treat more nutritious.
Pro: It can boost your mood.
I also got a thought about why my mom does not allow me to eat ice cream? So I found the cons of eating ice cream.
Con: You may experience a sugar crash.
Con: Too much may increase disease risk
So what's the bottom line? Can I eat ice cream often?
I wish that I could eat day and night but all my wishes are killed by my mother. I hope that there will be a law in which every parent has to give their kids an ice cream whenever they ask. When I researched about It, I found that it's ok to eat 2 to 3 scoops of ice cream in a week. But my mother will not even give me half a scoop a month.
I think I have shown what I have written and my mother would give me a delicious scoop of chocolate ice cream today.
