You must know Virat Kholi, an amazing Indian cricketer. He has many achievements and some are:
Virat Kohli was born to a Punjab Hindu family on 5 November 1988 in Delhi. His father, Prem Nath Kohli, worked as a criminal lawyer, and his mother, Saroj Kohli, was a housewife. He has an older brother named, Vikas, and an older sister, named Bhawna.
Kohli's childhood years were spent in Uttam Nagar. He started his early education at Vishal Bharti Public School. According to his family, Kohli had an interest in cricket as a three-year-old. He would pick up a cricket bat and request his father bowl to him.
In 1998, the West Delhi Cricket Academy (WDCA) was created. On 30 May of that year, Prem Nath Kohli arranged for his son to meet Rajkumar Sharma. Upon the suggestion of their neighbours, Kohli's father put his son in a professional cricket academy, as he believed that his cricket abilities were a lot more than just playing in gully cricket and breaking windows.
Despite his abilities, he faced the setback of being unable to be in the under-14 Delhi team, supposedly due to extraneous factors. Prem Kohli kept on getting offers to join his son in professional clubs, which would have confirmed his selection, but he declined the offers. Kohli eventually got into the under-15 Delhi team. He received training at the academy while he kept on participating in matches at the Sumeet Dogra Academy located at Vasundhara Enclave. In pursuit of furthering his cricketing career, he changed to Saviour Convent School during his ninth-grade education.
On 18 December 2006, Kohli's father died due to a cerebral attack. According to his mother, Kohli's manner shifted noticeably after his father's death. He took cricket seriously, prioritizing his playing time and dedicating himself fully to the sport. So simply he did nothing except cricket.
Kohli has technical abilities and an energetic playing attitude. His usual batting position in ODl cricket is at number three, with a grip on the bottom handle of his bat. He has been famous for his fast footwork, and long range of strokes. In his batting technique, Kohli plays grounded shots, like 4s, rather than attempting big hits, like 6s. He is appreciated for his ability to play wrist shots and his consistent skill in the mid-wicket and cover region.
Kohli's playing style is aggressive, a feature that extends to his leadership on the field. He is a good captain who makes quick decisions and shows the team how to do things by example. Kohli has been the subject of much media and was always blamed in the early stages of his career. That's too bad, I mean how can people just blame such a great guy? He was often represented as an arrogant person. While some have praised his determination and confidence, others have blamed Kohli's behaviour for crossing the boundaries of fair play and for losing control, sometimes resulting in a loss of composure. Despite his efforts to curb his aggressive behaviour, Kohli has accepted that there are times when intense pressure or stressful situations may challenge his decision. Virat has aggression that acts as a source of inspiration and creates focus and motivation on the field. Writing for the New York Times, Huw Richards noted Kohli's self-confidence and "assertiveness" and compared it to some former Indian cricketers.
With all of his achievements, Virat Kholi has his story written on his right hand in the form of tattoos. He has a total of 11 tattoos on his hand. Those are:
