Between late July & early November, cano crystals take on their iconic yellow, red, green & black hues as a result of the 'macarena clavigera', an aquatic plant that transforms this magical river beyond our widest rainbow-filled dreams.

If you liked the movie Edward Scissorhands, we bet you'll be interested in the Montreal Botanical Garden, an urban jungle packed full of interesting topiary & colorful plants.
