Nature is wonderfully beautiful. Self-reliant, stable, and sustainable in its different ways. From these characters, we as humans can learn perfect lessons on various aspects of life. One such lesson is on the Cycle Of Life.
All of us must have witnessed a Sunrise, randomly if not deliberately. I am sure everybody will agree on how mesmerizing it looks. It all begins with a few rays peeping out from the eastern horizon and is immediately followed by a smoothly growing beam of red and orange bands of the light spectrum. This adds a bright blush to the plain sky, similar to that on the plump cheeks of a newlywed bride. During the day, the Sun travels across the sky between the extremes of the East and the West. Then the final sight to adore is the Sunset. The whole journey ends but the exit is filled with classic grace and grandeur. Once again the sky is filled with bright colors. This time adding a glossy tint of tiredness to the blushing cheeks of the bride. That is how the Sun delivers this life lesson on a daily basis. When we are born as children, we bring with us a huge treasure of happiness and blessings not only for our families but for the whole wide world. The birth fills up the life of the whole family with colors similar to those filling the plain sky during dawn. Then the journey starts. First, a kid, then a teen, youth, adulthood, and old age. Finally comes the moment of truth- Death. The whole cycle comes to an end and guess what! We are just not prepared to leave. We never thought of this day. The life we spend is something I refer to as ‘ simply complicated’. We keep on passing through stages and keep working for short-term goals which are nothing but materialistic. And in the end, when it is time to leave, looking back we find nothing of a true achievement that could become a lifeboat in our Afterlife. Unfortunately end up meeting an unsatisfied, unfinished end.
The fact of the subject is that none of us want to be like this!! Well, not too much to ask for. For having better endings we need to understand and realize that things are supposed to be very different than how we are doing them. God created Sun as an example for us and Sun never taught us what we are doing presently. It taught us to arrive with energy and motivation and to leave with an equivalent grandeur. Our life needs to have a broader spiritual goal. And other passionate survival goals as well. We need to stop becoming slaves of desires and expectations. Real heroism is to walk the path of success holding hands with ourselves(first and foremost), our family, and of course our friends. They are our assets who become support systems during breakdowns and failures- two things that add up variety and spice to life and help maintain its aroma. These skills put together are small yet effective elements that ensure a great entry and a grand exit.
