Hush,
Sew the mouth as it weeps,
Cover the eyes when they peep,
Bite back the tongue that speaks,
Whip away every wail that squeaks,
Force the listening ears shut,
Burn the skin with lit cigarette butts,
Chain halt the tapping bony ankles,
Jewel cuffs around wrists as bangles,
Put the hollow of submission in a palace,
Build with carefully picked out malice,
Wipe away the drying tears of agony,
Keep smiling your sweet misogyny.
