A ponderous encumbrance, a silent dread,
A spectral presence, eternally nigh.
A chilling nebulousness, obscuring vision,
Purloining hope, and attenuating light.
A weary heart, a troubled intellect,
Enveloped in obscurity, elusive to locate.
A vacant gaze, a lifeless countenance,
Confined within sorrow's labyrinthine maze.
A ponderous onus, arduous to bear,
A solitary soul, beyond rectification.
A whispered supplication, a silent lamentation,
For hope to illuminate, aloft in the celestial sphere.
A fragile spirit, feeble and infirm,
A shattered mind, beyond reparation.
A weary soul, yearning for tranquillity,
A desperate heart, longing for deliverance.
A ceaseless conflict, waged solitarily,
Against a foe, invisible and familiar.
A battleground within, where shadows creep,
And dreams of felicity, gradually slumber.
A ponderous fetter, that binds and constricts,
A captive of the soul, that wails.
A desperate plea for succour, unheard,
Lost in silence, a solitary avian.
A sinking vessel, adrift at sea,
No guiding star, no predetermined fate.
A drowning soul, engulfed in anguish,
No prospect of rescue, no respite.
A shattered mirror, fragmented glass,
Reflecting naught, save the past.
A haunting echo, within the intellect,
Of lost illusions, abandoned behind.
A ponderous stone, upon the heart,
A persistent ache, from the outset.
A weary traveller, lost in night,
No guiding light, no radiant beacon.
A silent scream, a muffled lamentation,
Unheard and unseen, passing by.
A waning hope, a perishing dream,
A shattered soul, beyond redemption.
A ponderous encumbrance, arduous to bear,
A solitary soul, beyond rectification.
A whispered supplication, a silent lamentation,
For hope to illuminate, aloft in the celestial sphere.
