It’s not only the parents a child is influenced by while growing up, It’s the entire community which is responsible for the growth of a child's thoughts.
The child is first influenced by the mother father, grandparents (if in a joint family) the maids the child is looked after, the neighbours, the neighbour's children, the school the child goes to, the child is in co-ed or cosmopolitan school or in a particular community school, all these factors affect in a positive or negative way in a child’s mind.
The children who educate from gender-based schools that are only boys or only girls school have a very different thought process, they are not restricted in the good or bad words they speak openly, whereas a child educated in a co-ed school where boys and girls study together, learn to respect their opposite genders, they learn to behave well in front of each other and not have vivid thoughts and imagination about each other, they think twice before speaking their thoughts loudly, though exceptional cases are found everywhere.
The teachers influence the child in a very profound manner, a child trust and believes in the teacher. Along with the parents, it’s the teachers who have a big role in shaping the child.
The multicultural society influences the children’s thought process. Their eating habits, festival celebrations, the dressing sense, the culture, music, the mannerism are all picked by the child and imitated.
The behavioural pattern of co-passengers while traveling on bus, train or flight, leave an everlasting impression on the child’s mind.

The places the child travels in growing years widen the prospective and reasoning, make the child realise God has created the world same, the leaves, water for survival, the Rocky Mountains the people are the same everywhere, similar climatic changes in rotations.
The dialect spoken whether it’s chaste or abusive is influenced by all the people with whom they are surrounded, my grandson and my friend’s daughter who is like a granddaughter to me, change their mode of conversation within seconds from Punjabi and Hindi to English as they feel I can’t understand the regional language.
The simple, kind, and humble or rude behaviour of a child is once again influenced by the people he comes most in contact with. It’s reflected in his journey of life throughout
A person does change the habit good or bad according to new friends in college or new colleagues in office.
