In a Cafe, I was desperately waiting for my date. Feeling nervous and anxious at the same time, I was getting a feeling of flying butterflies in my stomach. Thinking about the future moment, out of the blue I drank 4 cups of coffee. When I was about to order the 5th one, I heard a slight creaking of a door. I got up and anxiously waited for her to enter. She was standing at the door, searching me with her mesmerizing eyes.

A few months ago, I wrongly received a message on Instagram with an attachment of an important document. I messaged the sender about the mistake. In a few minutes, I got an apology stating that the message was wrongly sent due to the same profile name. Accepting the apology I thought to check the sender's profile. While checking the feed I found the heartfelt poems and a profile picture of a dog. 'Maybe the sender is a dog lover', I thought to myself and read all the poems. I fell in love with the writing and decided to have a chat again. I was not sure about the consequence but my curiosity was piqued and I sent 'Hello' to the sender. In a few minutes, I received a reply and our formal conversation kick-started. In a few days it was converted into an informal one and about 2 months later we decided to meet in person.

Standing near the table, I stared at the incomer and got attracted to her mesmerizing eyes. She was standing at the door with a dark complexion, hair tied in a braid, big glasses engulfing her mesmerizing eyes, and front teeth peeking out of her delicate lips. I was shocked by looking at her. After having a chat with her for nearly 2 months, I never assumed her to be like this. It is correctly said, 'The first impression has a long-lasting effect and we cannot assume someone without meeting them in person.' Controlling my feelings and comforting myself, I pulled out a chair and invited her. Walking elegantly she came near me and it took us an eternity to start our conversation. In the meanwhile a series of thoughts were crossing my mind. She must have read my thoughts. In a soft tone, she broke the silence and said, 'I think you did not expect me to be like this?'. Coming out of the thoughts, I nodded truthfully at her. I don't know what she may have thought about my answer but she smiled at me and said, 'truthful and genuine people are hard to find. I like your personality.' Listening to her I smiled gently. The waiter came to take our order and without asking I ordered her favourite dish. Hearing this she must have felt overwhelmed and I too felt shocked by my behavior. My eyes were again locked with hers. I can't explain the feeling but I fell in love with her innocent eyes and at that moment her personality didn't matter to me. We chatted freely over lunch and dwelt into each other thoughts that we forgot about the time. Someone has said correctly, 'An inner soul is more beautiful than an attractive face' and after having chatted with her I find it true. In order to correct my mistake about her first impression, I asked her for a long drive and eagerly waited for her answer. With a smile, she nodded gently.

Kickstarting my royal enfield I waited for her to sit. Elegantly sitting on the passenger seat she touched my shoulders with her soft hands. As this was my first date, I smiled and enjoyed the feeling. We went on a beach and while searching for the right place, we found a coconut tree standing aloof from other trees. We sat under the tree. The sky was clean and the ocean water was constantly moving, touching, and soothing our feet. A silence engulfed the moment. As I was about to start the conversation, a flow of water took one of her sandals. She hurriedly went in the water to search for it and I too got up in order to help her. Finding the sandal, I turned to her and found a girl standing in front of me with fair skin, long wet hair, delicate lips, and mesmerizing eyes without the specs. Her makeup was totally washed up showing her beautiful glow. She saw the sandal in my hand. As she was about to march towards me, with a pocket mirror I stood in front of her. Seeing her replica in the mirror she grinned mischievously. I tried hard to scold her but after locking my eyes with her I could not resist and hugged her tightly.

I thanked Universe for giving me a chance to correct my mistake about her first impression. If I had not corrected my mistake by taking her for a long drive, I would have not had a chance to meet such a pure soul.

Looking into her eyes, I asked her why she acted like this. To which she smilingly replied, "This was your test". Observing my expression, she again laughed and said, "Everyone loves outer beauty but very few understand inner beauty. I never dated anyone and it was my dream to meet and only date the person who understands and respects the inner soul".

With a faint smile, I asked her, "Then have you found anyone?". Hearing my question, shyly she nodded her head, and looking deeply into my eyes she gave a soft peck on my cheek. That moment made me trust the universe's timing and it's a blessing. Those who have true inner beauty always come across their soulmate.

It's true!, when our intention is pure, the Universe always blesses us with the best thing. The only thing we must do is to believe and respect the universe's choice. A simple moment can take us to special something which we deserve the most. So don't question the universe, just go with the flow, do good deeds, and leave it to the universe to take care of us.
