Psychology is the study of the mind and behavior, according to the American Psychological Association. It is the study of the mind, how it works, and how it affects behavior.

BRANCHES OF PSYCHOLOGY

  3. Developmental psychology: Study of emotions.
  4. Evolutionary psychology: Evolutionary psychology looks at how humans behave.
  5. Occupational psychology: It is Assessing and making recommendations about the performance of people at work and in training.
  6. Social psychology: It is the study of “how social influences affect human behaviour?”
  7. Educational psychology: Educational psychology is the branch of psychology concerned with the scientific study of human learning.
