In the somber realm where spirits reside,
I stand, a silent observer, on the other side.
The hushed whispers and mournful tears,
Fill the air, as the funeral nears.
A vessel of flesh I once possessed,
Now departed, my soul laid to rest.
Gone is the pain, the earthly strife,
Released from the bounds of mortal life.
The mourners gather, clad in black,
Faces etched with sorrow, eyes look back.
They speak of memories, both sweet and dear,
Recalling moments shared, now crystal clear.
My loved ones weep, their hearts torn apart,
Grief surrounds them, gripping their fragile hearts.
But fear not, dear ones, for I am here,
In spirit, I linger, forever near.
As they lower the casket into the ground,
I feel their anguish, profound and profound.
Yet, I am at peace, a tranquil repose,
Embracing the stillness, where the soul knows.
Through their tears and sorrow's grip,
I hope they find solace, a gentle slip,
Into acceptance, where love still thrives,
In memories cherished, where our bond survives.
So let the funeral be a celebration of life,
A tribute to the moments, free from strife.
May my departure ignite a flame,
Of appreciation, love, and healing's claim.
From the realm beyond, I watch them depart,
With heavy hearts, but a newfound start.
For in their grief, they find strength to rise,
Embracing life's precious, fleeting ties.
And as they bid farewell, I silently say,
Fear not, dear ones, though I've passed away.
For in your hearts, I forever reside,
A gentle presence, forever by your side.
So let the funeral be a bittersweet release,
An homage to love that will never cease.
And know, as I soar beyond the veil,
Peace has found me, and I am well.
