It was the year 1987 when the movie Mr. India released when I was not even born; it was during my childhood in early 2000 when once I was tired of playing with my friends in the school and came back home playing the video game. Mum gave me food and sat with me watching the movie Mr. India. I was much fantasized with this superpower of invisibility. I was disappointed that day after I fought with my elder brother and as per my usual habit of getting angry and going under the bed showing off to everyone in the family my disappointment. While sleeping on the bedside I found this beautiful bag full of old toys books and Secret Diary that belong to my dad. Mum had this habit of collecting each memory of olden Golden days about each family member.
It seemed to me that dad had kept hidden this wonderful Treasure of his childhood days. As everybody was sleeping during that hour I I took the treasure out and sat near the window. I was mesmerized on opening the treasure with the beautiful books, drawings and amazing small little things; I took the diary out and started reading it. While reading the Secret Diary I fell asleep. In My Dreams I was new to this place I was wearing a school uniform and I was sitting in a classroom of standard 4th B, all the class was getting ready for a picnic. I was also excited to see where we were going. I was walking in the corridor with other students and suddenly I saw a clash between two boys. I went near the crowd and it was my dad who was finding the other boy for his younger brother's water bottle which was being taken forcefully by the other kids.
Teacher enter the place and started scolding both fighting kids as teacher went back from there I picked up the water bottle fallen down and give it to my dad as I was new to the school he recognized and soon we became friends very soon. As we headed to the school bus it was the evening time we begin walking on the seashore. I was just scrolling down the beach alone looking that my dad and his friend at right consoling my dad's younger brother so to enjoy the picnic. Suddenly I was nostalgic and remembered my elder brother who is same like my dad. Hundreds of people were sitting on the beach playing in the sand making houses. Some small kids were playing with the ball. Dad and I went to a magician showing his feats. Ongoing ahead we came across a hawker selling grams, groundnuts, chikki, and sugarcane, etc. those were the days in my dad's childhood in the early decades of the 70s. Dad came in with some sweets to share with me and with his younger brother along with him. We enjoy the eateries on the seashore, sat in the merry-go-round, and on a giant wheel.
Now it was time for the school bus to take us back to our school. We played with water of the sea and splashed the water with hands and also collected a few pebbles and shells which were lying on the seashore. We were helping each other and talking about the fun that we enjoyed. It was now the sunset at this moment we had a glance at the change in color of the sky near the horizon the Splendor of the Crimson Sky made the atmosphere lively and made our hearts filled with the rare type of emotions when the cloud of Darkness gathered at sea shore. We left the beach and queued to our school bus with refreshed minds and boarded on our school bus. I had enjoyed the whole day of picnic and by getting back to the school I saw many parents waiting for the kids. Dad and his younger brother ran near their mother who was standing near the gate. I was surprise gazing at her she was my grandmother I saw a beautiful young face smiling at me. I wanted to accompany Dad and uncle to our home but my grandmother was patiently waiting for my mother’s arrival. It was too late so she handed me over to the teacher nearby and dad said goodbye to me. I woke up from my dream. I saw dad and my elder brother playing near me. My brother was asking me to help him win the board game of chess now I was back to the happy present.
