Imperfections and flaws compliment nature just like the moon does the sky yet the world we live in is such a cruel one where people show no mercy to even one of their own kind. Just because one’s outer appearance is different from their own, they make fun of the former. They’d be like,”It’s just a joke, relax!” Verbal abuse is real, as a matter of fact, a word once uttered can’t be taken back. Words are like arrows to the heart and sometimes to the soul. Once the arrow is released, there is no turning back. You’re pretty much aware that you were drawing the string, so why feigning innocence after?

One of the most common factor for the majority causes of public figures’ suicide points to cyberbullying. Terms such as “too fat, too skinny, too dark, too short,.. blah blah blah” being the keywords. STOP!!!! Just stop it. It’s not your life. You are not them. It’s their own body, not yours. Why do you care if they gain a few extra pounds or if they lose a few? You have no idea how much it takes for a person to be in the spotlight, to be able to stand in front of the whole world and show themselves to the world. You have no idea how much courage and hard work it takes to become someone of leverage. It’s not just about celebrities or someone who is always in the spotlight . Verbal abuse and therefore the mental abuse and crippling of confidence that follows closely enough behind happens in almost everyone that is termed as “Someone who doesn’t meet the beauty standards”. Whatbeautystandards? The real meaning behind beauty standards should be “ Being comfortable in your own skin and being able to remind other people how much of a work of art they are. '' Just stop whatever evil you are stirring in the pot and put yourself in their shoes for a moment. How would you feel if one day you’ve finally gathered enough courage to present something in front of the whole world or just have built up enough confidence to be in your own skin and then suddenly someone whom you didn’t even knew existed started spewing nonsense from just behind the screens just because they felt like it?

There and then you’d feel your confidence crippling down. How would you feel when in that moment you get a flashback of all those efforts and hard work you’ve put, of every hurdles you went through just to build up the courage to be yourself and the next moment, you see it crippling down in just a mere matter of minutes or even seconds? And all you can do is just turn a deaf ear and bear it until you can’t anymore; until you decide you don’t even deserve this marvellous god gifted life of yours? Look, it might be really tempting to comment negatively in other’s bodies or your preferences on people but it’s not your choice to make, neither it’s your right to. If you wanna really spew negative comments and nonsense above other people or comment something about their bodies or appearance, feel free to grab a mirror. In fact, grab a full length mirror. That way you can evaluate your own body , your appearance, and hopefully your insecurities too. Maybe who knows you might even learn to understand yourself more and to love your flaws instead of ruining someone’s day.

There’s this thing about men disrespecting women. About how they see women as some eye-candy. Some men are really supportive of their significant others. They support them being true to themselves and being comfortable in their own skin, which creates a peaceful harmonic environment in their relationship. These men make their women feel like they are the most beautiful and unique flower in the garden no matter whatever the shape , sizes and flaws. But the real question is do these men respect women in general or is it just their women for the sake of their relationship?

Like I mean, come on….. Just take a few moments to accept the beauty of nature. The human body is no less. The curves like that of the never-ending range of mountains, from stretch marks resembling that of the rippling waves of the sea or the thunder lightening up the sky for a traveller lost at a distance to each and every skin folds , to every veins inside us only proves to be true that we are indeed very much a part of nature and we are all beautiful the way we are. We don’t have to change our appearances furthermore than how God created us to be. We are of different varieties. The human skin is of numerous textures and shades which is what makes each one of us unique in our own way. “Just because one star shines brighter doesn’t mean the others aren’t one. We are all stars in the night sky, we just have our own spark and we shine differently; individually.”

We are all magical. You, my dear, are magical. If you don’t feel like you’re enough, you are just in the wrong place around the wrong company, around people who failed to acknowledge your charms. People can be really rude without a reason sometimes. Someone will always be there to bring out your flaws, trying to pull you down and to break down your confidence. But remember, the only reason they’re trying to drag you down is because they are already below you. They are just presenting their insecurities on a silver platter which is of course not that much of an appealing way to show the jealousy burning inside of them. They're just jealous of your confidence and understanding of self worth. Just like the flame jealousy is, it will burn their soul as a whole inside out, although I do really hope they return to their very own senses before it consumes them fully and there is no turning back or chance to heal.

What you want to do with your body is completely your choice and just like that what someone else wants to do with their own body is their own choices to make. If you want to lose a few pounds, get botox, rhinoplasty, etc….whatever you want to do to your body, it's your choice. But you are in no place to set the beauty standards for anyone else. If someone is happy and confident in their own skin, respect that and acknowledge them. Because each and every body, shape, size, colour, or texture is beautiful and is a marvellous creation of nature.
