Introduction:
Success is a term related to achievements, goals, fulfilment, and realisation. It varies from person to person according to their unique perspectives. Success is not just a destination; it is a journey where one achieves goals, fulfils requirements, and realises oneself. Success is not a slice of cake; it is gained through hard work and continuous efforts. To achieve it, one requires a clear vision, which is created when one has their own definition and goal known as success. It requires determination and a willingness to embrace challenges that come in the path. Only imagination is not the thing that leads to success. One must have a realistic and measurable goal with the correct path and direction, which only comes when the individual has their own definition for success because it’s the most important aspect. Without knowing what success means to one, they are unable to find the correct path and direction.
What Success Wants:
The journey is not going to be easy. Success wants an individual to think in their own way, to create their own path to achieve it. It also wants the individual to understand the path they are walking on, whether it is correct or not. It not only wants the sacrifices one has made but wants them to analyse their journey till now and to think, to have one’s own definition for success, which will lead to the desired path and then to success itself. It's not that the definition of one’s success will apply to everyone. It is always required to have one's own. Success wants one to know that they may face challenges that will try to break them, but the individual should be ready to face every single problem or challenge. One may face failure; one might get stuck while in the middle, facing self-doubt, overthinking, or being anxious about what one is doing. But with the definition of success, efforts, determination, and hard work in hand, one will overcome these obstacles. But that’s not the end; keep on working.
Find Your Own Definition:
The definitions have varied in one’s journey from childhood to now because the definition was not the individual’s own, it was a definition influenced by other's success which becomes an easy target for the situations that have the potential to manipulate it. For example, family problems, society, expectations, and more. One may achieve the goal established in their mind after listening to circumstances and society, but it will be unpleasant, suffering inside or puzzled because something was not correct, in their definition of success. One’s definition can be inspired by someone’s definition but should not be the exact copy of that definition. There must be changes that fit the individual’s environment and conditions. It’s important to have one’s own version of the definition. Sometimes confusion occurs while creating the own version of the definition because the era in which we are living has a lot of options to opt for. So if one is in their teens, probably in their six-teens, they must go and explore all potential options, try doing different things, try art, tracking, acting, research, singing, dancing, creating their own song, and writing. Reading different books, self-help, business and economics, non-fiction, or even fiction can help. Reading helps get directions for where to go. Listen to some successful person’s interview to seek direction, not to copy them because that definition was of them, it worked on them but not on everyone. To be more practical read and learn about different persons having different circumstances and resources and their journey, like learning about Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, a newspaper boy to missile man of India and learning about Elon Musk, son of a model to the richest man on earth. But don't forget to just learn from them not to copy them and find your path which should be constructed for the journey ahead. If the individual is not in their teens or probably in their 20s, they must think critically and architect the path for the journey. They can also follow for themselves.

Success needs one’s own definition to find the correct path and direction, which will lead, and help to face challenges in this journey. Go explore fields, explore books, and go listen to some successful person’s interview to seek direction. Try to find your own direction, construct your own path, and achieve what you desire. And always remember that success is not one achievement. Success is not the place where one should stop; it’s the journey where one achieves and fails and again achieves, and this goes on.
