After Suresh was done with the Annual Examination, he was not left with anything interesting to do. He was that kind of a boy who did not want to stay at home for too long. He liked to visit places and even desired to go on tours (which he had never done in his life). Suresh despised remaining confined to the precincts of his house but had no other option. After getting fed up of everything, Suresh decided to unlock his almirah and look up the articles there to spend some time.

The almirah contained plenty of articles. Two amazing wallets as gifts given to him out of which one was a customized wallet gifted by his elder sister. The other was a leather wallet gifted by one of Suresh's friends. Beside them was a farewell momento. It was given to him by the school from which Suresh had completed his secondary education. There were uncomfortable memories associated with that school and for a moment, Suresh was transported to the day of the farewell. It was one of the most memorable days of Suresh's life. After coming back to reality, Suresh looked to see the other stuffs in the place. On its left side was a gold medal. Suresh had won it after emerging as the winner of the Tennis Championship of his school. Suresh had not won many medals or certificates in his school life and so it held a special place in his heart. He also found a photoframe behind it which was gifted to him by one of his friends on his birthday. Suresh had not yet discovered what the frame intended to portray as it just displayed the picture of a couple of girls, one in a red and the other in a yellow attire. Nonetheless, a photoframe is to be hung in a room, as Suresh thought instead of putting it inside an almirah. So, he decided to hang the frame so that his room looks more presentable. It was after this that the teenager got hold of something which took him down the memory lane

It was the school magazine of Suresh's alma mater which was quite old. He was in fifth standard when he had received it. Suresh saw his picture in the class photograph and beamed in glee. Then, he was drowned in memories related to the past. Currently, Suresh was considered as a thoroughly disciplined fellow by everyone, especially his juniors and teachers but things were not the same nine to ten years back. He was a mischievous little kid and teachers would be after him all the time. Suresh was also too much animated as he was into too much of Bollywood. He would keep delivering the lines of cheap movies pretending to look cool but he was nothing more than a jerk for others. Yes, childhood is the time of doing non-sensical things but not ideal for being oversmart. This attitude, had to some extent ruined Suresh's childhood. Innocent childhood wasn't as carefree for him as it was for others because of imagining and inviting unnecessary and non-existent problems. By the time Suresh had realised this, his childhood was over. After going through the other features of the magazine, Suresh felt further disappointed.

He noticed that the students who had no relation with studies in the higher classes had also written a few articles while they were kids. They weren't the best of write-ups in the entire world but it was evident that the children were trying their best to express themselves and that is the most you can expect from a child of fourth or maybe fifth standard. Suresh did not even have the courage to do that in the past. He had given so much of priority to the limited bit of textual syllabus at that age that he didn't care to explore the unlimited amount of creativity which can be acquired from the universe. Suresh so badly wished to go back in time and enjoy like all the other carefree kids. To his dismay, the primary principle of the wheel of time was against his yearning.
