The answer to the question is that, in today’s era, everyone is surrounded by many people but also feel alone when it comes to sharing their inner feeling with someone.! Not everyone is lucky in having a special one with whom they can share their problems or tell what’s going on in their mind. When there is no one with them they keep their problems or issues to themselves which makes them frustrated or feel irritated.
But that’s not the solution to their problem instead they are not aware that keeping their problems to themselves can affect their mental health or it can lead to major health issues. They start getting depressed and overthink a lot.
Being depressed is becoming a common issue in adults, which is not a healthy sign in the coming era.
Being Depressed is a cause of disability worldwide and a significant contributor to the global disease burden.
In research, it is said that women are affected by depression more than men, but it is not true as each person who is being left alone or is bullied is affected by depression which can lead to suicide if the depression stage reaches the last level, where people lost the sense that what step they are taking and what can be their consequences. Depression and physical health have a direct relationship with each other.
But there is a cure for everything in today’s time and there is a cure for depression also:
The first and foremost step is not a medical step but it’s a step that every individual should take care not to bully someone as most people don’t understand the major difference between bullying someone and doing fun with someone.
If we see these two underlined words, we can see that there is a major difference between both words.
BULLYING: This is teasing or making fun of someone intentionally.
DOING FUN WITH SOMEONE: This is just cracking jokes with someone without hurting someone’s intentions
If each individual learns the difference between these two, half of the problem can get solved by this only.
Adding to this people who have gone through any traumatic event which have left a mark on them can also lead to depression…
It can be cured instead of keeping the issues within themselves they should share them with their loved ones or the ones whom they trust, which can reduce the stress on the mind and can help cure them fast.
If there is no one with whom a person can share their emotions or feelings, then they can consult physiatrists who study the issue or reason behind their behavior. Which can help them a lot in coming out of depression.
Next question is, is only bullying a reason for depression?
The answer to this question is no, there are many other reasons which can lead to severe depression.
What is a peer problem?
When a child faces difficulty mixing up with other children or can not get mixed up or comfortable with the environment, they are in.
Such a coincidence, when I was writing this article there a piece of news flashed that an Indian Actress attempted suicide due to some reasons…
The reason to tell this was that the main reason which can lead to depression is Peer problems where you don’t get comfortable or the environment is not friendly where you cannot able to yourself makes comfortable.
How can Environmental Stress lead to depression?
When a child sees problems or fights in the family by birth it can affect their mind a lot the family should also understand what to and what not to say in front of the child as they observe from starting in or around their environment which can affect their mind positively or negatively depends on what the children are observing and inculcating.
Stressful life includes toxic relationships (Not only Girlfriend or Boyfriend Relationships but also it can be a toxic relationship with family or friends.)
All these issues just need little love and pampering from their loved ones or someone who can listen to their issues and just give them an assurance that they’re never alone and their loved ones are always by their side to support them.
At last, I would like to say that:
People have a mindset that being depressed means being sad, but here the mindset is wrong depression is the feeling of being numb to emotions or life … (Numb means when you don’t feel anything).
When you get tired of everything be it a failure, being lonely, or being scared of socializing. When you want to scream and want to say it all, but you can’t, when you are tired of being faking with a smile... when you hide your pain just behind your smile when you give your hundred percent that the person with you never get upset and you try to make them smile just thinking that what you are going through not everybody goes through at least you are with them.
So, just try to keep yourself happy and share whatever you are feeling so that it does not create problems in your life at last or it brings burden at last. There is no medical test for depression just daily meditation to keep your mind fresh and stop overthinking. Socialize with people to keep your mind diverted and keep yourself busy with the things you love doing.
If you don’t want to share what you feel or going through so don’t share with anyone instead just pen down your feelings thinking that you are sharing your thoughts and they are safe with them.
Just think that you are the best and you can deal with everything which is on your way. Just think that you are not alone just spend your me time with yourself to come up with “THE NEW YOU”. Just smile and avoid your problems, cause keeping smiling is the most powerful weapon.
