Nia, a 21-year-old budding scientist wanted to do some research but today she became a research topic. She is a beautiful, confident, and brilliant star that could shine as bright as possible but sometimes what we predict does not persist.

She was a healthy and energetic girl with full of enthusiasm. But no one knows that one day she will be unable to feel confident. One day when she was combing her hair a bunch of hairs came in her hands. And she starts noticing that her hair falls gradually. She realized that there are some patches had started appearing on her head. She starts feeling tensed about it. Later on, she decided to consult a Doctor. She went to the doctor and the doctor requested her for some tests such as TSA, ENA, ANA, and a few more. She went to the doctor with her tests and she got to know that she has an autoimmune disease called “Scarring Alopecia”. She was unable to get hold of herself and tried to ask her doctor about it. Dr. said it is an autoimmune disease which can be caused by many factors, genetics, and stress may sometimes trigger these things. Over and all in this, your own cells attack themselves and cause the death of the hair follicle cell. This may be permanent or can be treated by some medications. In some cases, the hair loss is permanent and sometimes temporary. As this is an autoimmune disease there is no exact cause hence no proper medicine or treatment is available for it as of now. We will just observe the level of your hair loss and try to minimize it with the help of some medications. There are different cases of Scarring Alopecia in some of them there are skin rash, and itching is also some observed symptoms. As far as your case severity is minimum so don’t worry it will be alright soon. When Dr. told her everything Nia was unable to understand all of them but the only few things left a deep impression in her mind. Day by day Nia starts feeling depressed she always questions herself why it happened. She started losing her confidence and lacked focus in her studies. She didn’t talk to her family much about it. As they always said to her that it’s okay it will be fine. But she always thinks that it happened because of stress which she thinks that she never had been taken. So she always felt herself out of the whole. She feared that if someone finds about it how would they react? will they laugh? Or make fun of her? Would no one like to talk to her? Will she really become completely bald one day? And how will she look? And these questions started haunting her deeply. She lost herself in the scars of Scarring Alopecia.

But as you know nothing is permanent in this life. A few months later of her treatment positive responses were observed. Her doctor said, “Nia see there are a lot of improvements your hair started growing from the bald region, so relax”. She then tried to be positive and thought about everything in a positive way. It’s not like that all her patches were recovered or the disease was cured but now she had a hope to be in a better state. The mental state of Nia was healed. She was able to see the sun of hopes. She starts focusing on her career. She cares about herself. The hair loss was still happening in huge amounts and new patches were also being observed sometimes. She still felt sad sometimes but she knew if she tried her best no matter what happened she would heal herself by the time.
