In today’s generation, people basically talk about the justice, insecurities, safety, growth, and the capacity of women, but what about men? Are they not a part of this human society? Should not they be also appreciated for the deeds they did for the humanity? Many of you might be taking these questions on another field but it’s okay because we have been trained in a way and we live in such a society where the negative thinking arises even before the birth of the positive ones. So let’s take a look at the perspective of men and their thoughts too.

We might think and we always carried a concept that “Boys don’t cry” as we have heard it mainly from our older generation and almost we believe it but does this really correct/approved? But the real thing is after all they are also human beings and they too have eyes like us so why shouldn’t they cry or feel bad? I would rather say that they also have the equal right to express their emotions and cry out in order to heal just as women do. Actually, men are more emotional/sentimental than women but the point is they are not being allowed or has being provided the space in which they can open up and cry out their emotions. We have often heard that “Only women and dogs are loved by everything but only men are the only species which are being loved by their money/status”. My point is, for women, many NGOs and Organizations are helping them in order to be independent, but why are they ignoring men? Some men also need help in order to be independent as god had made every human being in a different way whether it is of any gender. Now I am just not saying that “Men are superior”, but I am just trying to convey the message that if there is so much development for women, so why not for men? When the word “Equality” is being mentioned, it means that both males and females should be on equal lines and on equal responsibilities. Then why men have always had to pay for everything even when the women also have to pay equally but do not? In a couple’s relationship, it should be 50/50. Why should the man have to face the financial situation alone? If women start to understand and support their partners in financial and mental situations, then the world can develop in a better way and the world will be a safe place for each and every human being. Both men and women are needed for the development of the earth and with the support of each other, both can face every toughest situation in life.

A few days ago, there was a rape case in Punjab in which a man was brutally raped by four women, but I heard people laughing on this matter as if nothing happened. I was so shocked as to how they can take this matter so lightly. As on the other hand, if the victim would had been a woman, then there would be marches going on, and candles would have been lightened in different places but what about that man? He was innocent in that situation but whatever happened to him was against his consent and nobody even thought about that through what mental trauma that man was going through and nobody took a stand for him. Even after 3-4 days, everybody forgot about that situation . But in women’s cases, the news would have been telecasted on TV and in newspapers, and also people would have taken major steps for justice and the case would have reached to the Supreme Court. So the man didn’t get justice just coz he is a man?

As for further cases, I have researched that there are almost many cases in which the men does not get justice even for the things they didn’t did. There was another case in which there was one Zomato man who was being harassed by a woman and then the woman blamed him in order to save her. The man cried deliberately and said to everyone that he was the victim there but nobody listened to him and believed that wicked woman. After many days, the truth finally came out and then the man was found guilty but what about the traumas and taunting, which was being received by him without any reason? Was this an appropriate justice? Even the woman was not being punished much as she is a woman. Why this partially? Even in the whole constitution, there are almost no rules for men which could save them or help them if there are being victims. As for the women, there are so many acts and rules which are being used to punish the opposite person. Even if a woman wants to leave a guy, there are no compensation which is to be given to that man but on the other hand, if a man leaves a woman then he has to give his 50% property on the name of that particular woman along with his 40% income too. Men also need to be respected, cared for, loved, and treated like a king because as queens don’t live in hell so do kings don’t.

I really don’t know that I was able to clear out my point and thoughts but as a woman, I liked to talk on this topic as I didn’t find even a single paragraph about this topic as no one wanted to talk about it. I wish one day everyone will value men and women equally and would treat them coz they are human beings and not on the basis of their gender.
