1) Guru Devo bhava:

From the Vedas, the Guru has the highest reverence in society. He is held greater than family or parents. But the present scenario is the opposite. Gurus are less paid and highly pressured by management, families, and society.

The wisdom of gurus is subdued.

2) Good location:

The landscape must be visually appealing and lush green. The location should be far from noise. In the good olden days, trees were the classrooms. Nature is the best teacher. The ambiance must be calm and spacious with good amenities. They should be free from traffic noise and pollution. Good infrastructure, enough ventilation, fresh air, libraries, toilets, lockers, good furniture with proper seating, office, teaching, non-teaching, etc.

A child needs a safe and secure environment. An unsafe child can create unsafe societies. He grows up to be dangerous. So schools must create safe and healthy environments.

Safety includes hazardous substances, electricity, safe drinking water, safe swimming pools, and safe people around. Schools must invoke kindness, love, and affection through admirable people around them.

A child always looks for the most beautiful eyes.

4) Campus with good infrastructure:

Schools must have a playground as sports teach you everything. Good infrastructure is one that has art theaters, games, good washrooms, good sanitation, a playground, library.

5) School - A Temple

Schools should never be viewed as an asset builder or business. Dedicated and passionate teachers are the need of the hour. Teachers must also allot good remuneration so that more and more young adults choose to teach their profession. Teaching must involve not only knowledge and grades but also values and wisdom. Schools are the guardians of society. If you dream of a good society, ask a teacher. Schools are places of worship. Schools must make children happy.

6) School campus must foster good physical and mental growth:

A child must grow physically and mentally too. He must know how to handle success as well as failures. He must be adaptable and flexible. A strong mind and body must be built and this challenge every school must take.

A child must grow physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, spiritually,  and now technologically too. On his personality societies depend.

We must look at competent and passionate teachers. Children should be provided a sense of social and environmental responsibility.

Schools need strict monitoring and guidelines. Not every school can mould lives. Every school isn't school.

Students must embrace challenges and evolve through learning methods. They learn through mistakes, falls, and confusion. Learning must include thinking. Support of family, teachers, and peers is all they win. Positive school culture includes problem-solving skills social life, and building relationships. Schools are the framework for all social contributions.

Real life starts with school.

Dedicated to all passionate teachers who invoke thinking.

Happy Teachers Day!
