God save our holy motherland, we love our holy motherland, Bharat Mata ki jay are all the various slogans and titles we have kind of innovated and rather reserved for some specific days such as Independence Day and Republic day, by wearing integral batch of flag and singing melodious song with a sharp voice of a true patriot. But then after the dawn, the very next day here we go, here vanishes all the feelings of patriotism. Have you ever come across this hypocrisy? Yeah, because I have, zillions of times from zillions of people.

But has anyone on this planet really thought of digging deep into the roots of this word PATRIOTISM in a true sense? You see the problem is we have not been taught of this right from our birth. We kind of take things for granted when it comes to our motherland, Let us admit here that no one in India cares about the country even after 76 years of our barbarous independence. India was ruled for about 200 years by a monarchy situated in the islands of the west. The sun never sets in their empire it seems yes, I am talking about the British empire and their holy crown. If you are still reading this article and do not believe in a single statement from my article then let us take one classic example. How can a country not even a quarter to the size of Indian land rule us right from the west? Simple-” Divide and Rule.” How was this possible in such a diverse, integrated, and holy India? In fact, our diversity was used as a weapon against us and the consequence was British administration over entire Indian land. Agreed? There was the fall of Rajputana, the great Maratha empire, the great empire of Vijayanagar in the southern state of present-day Karnataka, the assassination of great Mysuru king Tipu sultan by the Britisher’s, the fall of Delhi sultanate and there was the gateway to British India right in the heart of India-Delhi.

Scrambled history defines our present-day turmoil. This may be a bit rude and cruel of me, but hear me out, We Indians never truly wanted independence, unlike some handful of people like Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin Chandra Pal, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel and many more who sacrificed their entire life for the freedom of this country. I will not mention in this article about the ‘Saheb’s’ of modern Indian History that is Gandhi or Nehru because we are aware of the historical blunder of their epoch. We live in a country where we pay homage to the wrong people for our independence and call ourselves a true patriot, this is our legacy. In a nation like India, everyone is aware of their ‘Fundamental Rights’ which is good but when it comes to ‘Fundamental Duties’ we kind of become illiterates of democracy.

Westernization is not equal to modernization. The country is the birthplace of Aryabhata, Maharshi Shankaracharya, Bhaskar Acharya, and many more. The country which was once technologically, politically, and scientifically most advanced is now considered as an orthodox, third-world country, and a mere country of snake charmers. I am sorry to say but today we judge a person as a true intelligentsia only if he/she can speak English while quite an opposite is the approach of people if one prefers to speak in Hindi or any other regional language for that matter. Look at the G7 countries like France, and Japan which are the most economically advanced, they do not speak English in fact, they like to communicate in their mother tongue which is integrity with the nation.

Our motherland needs real servitude and not mere chanting of Vande Mataram, people must understand that, when we say India can be a superpower, it is only possible when its citizens can truly become an asset to the nation and not a liability to the nation. You see India is like that diamond in the coal mine which has true resources, geography, and potential but its potential could only be recognized and utilized by the vigilant miner, and mind me, we need to be that miner. There will be many challenges superficially, but our service to the nation must continue like those of our brothers and sisters guarding the borders. Otherwise, India can become the next Iraq or Syria or any other African nation for that matter.

It is Bharat, not India, let us understand this first, this is the most holy land with rich civilizations and spiritual sites. This is the abode of Bhagwan Vishnu, Prabhu Ram, Mahadev, and Bhagwan Krishna. Remember most holy Ramayana and Mahabharata occurred in Bharat. Western countries love India on certain issues but when they have problems in their land it is a mere political heat whereas it is quite the superlative in the case of India. when we have the potential to serve their nation and run their economy why cannot contribute to our motherland first?

This is a call from Bharat Mata, because if not now, then tomorrow we will see the Chinese troops stationing at Galwan Valley and capturing lands of northern Bharat. We would see Pakistan’s battalions marching and extending their borders with full force to India for which they would have full support from the US and the UK who claim themselves to be the preachers of democracy but curb terrorism in the foreign land with full support and funding.

Let us not allow another East India company to capture our holy motherland Bharat like our ancestors did. Let us pledge to first understand the true meaning of patriotism, lets pledge to learn and respect our own culture first, lets come together to make our Bharat the times of riches and titans again.
