Travel means to walk a distance by foot or by bus or by any other means. In ancient times people used to walk from one place to another in search of food. When they get exhausted in one place, they use to shift to another place. They used to carry goods on the backs of animals like horses and camels. This group of people was called a caravan.

Ancient man also used sleds to carry goods from one place to another. These sleds were made of a plank of wood and they used animals like horses or dogs to pull those sleds. Later on, the man introduced wheels with the help of the bark of the tree. He cut the trunk of the tree and made different shapes of the bark of the tree mostly circles.

As the trunk was heavy, he cut it into thin circles and tried to stick to the sleds to carry goods from one place to another. In this way invention of the wheel made transport easy. They were further used in bicycles, cars motors, and aeroplanes. In short right from ancient times to modern times man was making progress in his life. When we speak of today's modern world there are various means of transport. The three modes of transport are landways, waterways, and airways.

The cheapest mode of transport is 'land'. People mostly use trains to travel from one place to another. It is the cheapest and safest mode of traveling. The airways are the most luxurious and comfortable mode of travel. It saves time and energy. Traveling is the most important aspect of our life. When we travel, we get to know many things. We are exposed to new cultures and cuisines of other regions. If we close ourselves in our homes, then our mind gets strangled, and we do not have that broad outlook. Our relationship becomes stagnant. We are not exposed to new things.

On the other hand, when we travel from place to place we become tolerant. We can make new friends, and we share our views and opinions with our friends. We are surrounded by friends and we explore many things which we do not know.

Our knowledge increases day by day. When we travel we are getting out of our comfort zone. We learn and experience new things. These new things help us to improve our personality. Each traveling experience brings us challenges to overcome. It helps us to deal with certain situations like our own weaknesses and strengths, our likes and dislikes. The experiences we gain on traveling are memorable.

Traveling helps us to make friends and make connections all around the world. When we travel we come to know how people are living, how they do their education, and how they look after their families, otherwise, we will be bound in a narrow circle of friends and family. So traveling makes us face the obstacles in life. When we remain at home for our whole life, it is hard to understand the world, because you will never get to know about another region, their celebration and tradition. So go and explore.

Never limit yourself to one place.
