The ‘Partner Author Initiative’ is a revenue-sharing model which enables individuals to collaborate with People’s Reflections to create and publish content for free and earn perpetually.
The ‘Partner Author Initiative’ has been introduced w.e.f.01.07.2023.
If you meet the requirements and get accepted into this Initiative, you can choose to make your content available to the readers at People’s Reflections and earn based on the performance of your every story/ article, or poem.
By joining the Initiative, you agree to follow the terms and conditions. And it’s important to read and understand these rules before participating. If you disagree with or don’t understand them, you can’t be part of this Initiative.
When you accept ‘Partner Author Initiative’, you are forming a binding agreement with People’s Reflections and showing that you agree to follow the Terms and Conditions.
(Note: Accepting the above conditions is considered as your agreement to apply for the ‘Partner Author Initiative’. Any violation of the above conditions will result in the permanent cancellation of the Author account from the People’s Reflections website)
There is no age bar for applying for the ‘Partner Author Initiative’. Likewise, there is also no gender-based restriction for applying for the ‘Partner Author Initiative’.
However, correct disclosure of age and gender is an ethic and any contradiction found in respect thereof will result into the removal of an account including all articles/ stories permanently.
If any contradiction is found in disclosed information under this clause, without any illicit intention, People’s Reflections can reconsider the application of such authors for ‘Partner Author Initiative’.
To be a part of the ‘Partner Author Initiative’, you must fulfill the Mandatory Eligibility Conditions, apply, and be accepted into this Initiative. People’s Reflections reserved the right to decide at its sole discretion about who can join this Initiative. Kindly note that this eligibility requirement may be modified based on various circumstances over a period of time.
Every existing and new subscriber, who wishes to apply for the ‘Partner Author Initiative’, has to make an independent application. (Apply Here)
Please note that the applicant shall meet the Mandatory Eligibility Conditions prescribed hereinabove to maintain your application. If you fail to meet the above conditions, People’s Reflections will make reasonable attempts to inform you about your ineligibility in the ‘Partner Author Initiative’.
In case you are an existing Author on People’s Reflections and you have already published content on the People’s Reflections website, then the content that meets the Mandatory Eligibility Conditions will be declared as premium content and the same will be considered under the ‘Partner Author Initiative’. Therefore, the said content will be entitled to earning revenue under the ‘Partner Author Initiative’.
In the event of the removal of your account from ‘Partner Author Initiative’ for any violation of the Terms or Conditions set herein, your premium content will also be no longer entitled to monetary benefit, and you will stop earning from the readers of your content.
To stay in the ‘Partner Author Initiative’, you must continuously meet the Mandatory Eligibility Conditions set out here and actively participate in the Initiative. For instance, if you do not publish any content within a six-month period, People’s Reflections may disable your ability to generate revenue through the ‘Partner Author Initiative’. However, before disabling your earning potential, we will provide you with the prior notice.
If we disable your revenue generation but subsequently determine that you still meet the requirements to remain in the ‘Partner Author Initiative’, we may reactivate your revenue-earning ability without requiring you to reapply for the ‘Partner Author Initiative’.
You can earn revenue from the premium content based on factors like the quality of your content and readers’ engagement. (refer Reflections Writing Standards)
Based on the performance of your content, People’s Reflections will pay you a portion of the revenues they receive from membership/ subscription fees for your premium content. (see the Payment Distribution Method)
You need to ensure that your content shall be original and free of plagiarism.
People’s Reflections reserves the right to adjust the factors of your content to determine it’s performance and revenue at any time.
In order to grow your audience, you need to publish content regularly having premium quality.
As a member of the ‘Partner Author Initiative’, you can also earn referral fees from readers who become paid members through your referral link. (Referral program is not started yet, Reflections shall notify all Partner Authors once the referral program is enforced).
You will receive a portion of the subscriber’s fee. Referral fees may change and you must comply with the guidelines when sharing the referral link.
Fraudulent behaviour or violation of third-party terms may disqualify you from the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ as well as Referral Program.
Your content will qualify as premium content only if you have the necessary rights to use your content commercially. In other words, if the content is taken from any book or any other author, the same me be disqualified from the revenue-sharing model and removed permanently from the People’s Reflections website
People’s Reflections may request documents or reasonable proof to ensure the originality of the content you intend to qualify as premium content either before publishing, or the content on People’s Reflections website or thereafter.
Defining the content as premium content without proper rights or failing to provide documents can result in consequences like removal of content, withholding revenue, or account suspension/ termination permanently.
If third parties claim rights to your content and turned to be genuine, you won’t be entitled to any revenue.
It is an inherent right of the reader to report plagiarism or any other similar activities in respect of premium or regular content published on People’s Reflections. Under the circumstances, the respective author/s will be solely responsible for such violation and People’s Reflections will not, under any circumstances even remotely, support/ ratify/ indemnify the act of the author/s. Further, People’s Reflections reserves the right to file a legal complaint, suit, or any other suitable legal action that can be initiated against such authors.

before publishing any content on the People’s Reflections website, the editor team ensures and undertakes scanning of the content to check the plagiarism and originality of the content with the help of technology. Though the exercise is undertaken by People’s Reflections, any instances of plagiarism or non-originality noticed in the future, the respective author/s will be solely responsible for the same and People’s Reflections will not, under any circumstances even remotely, support/ ratify/ indemnify the act of the author/s.
To receive payment, you must be a member in good standing, have an active account on reflections.live, and payout method linked to your bank account.
People’s Reflections doesn’t owe you revenue if you are not in good standing or lack a valid account or active payout method.
Revenue may require a minimum payout method i.e. Once you cross INR 300/-, you can process withdrawal of the full amount.
If you quit or are removed from the ‘Partner Author Initiative’, People’s Reflections will pay you up to the date of your exit the entire amount that is remaining in your wallet.
People’s Reflections can disable your revenue, suspend your participation, or terminate your involvement in the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ for violating any of the terms and conditions of ‘Partner Author Initiative’, and it includes, but is not limited to, not meeting the Mandatory Eligibility Conditions set out hereinabove, being inactive in the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ for a long duration beyond a reasonable limit, or violating any terms stated in this Terms and Conditions.
If your membership under ‘Partner Author Initiative’ is terminated, your premium content will not be able to generate revenue, and you will not earn referral earnings as well.
Authors can restore the terminated account at any time after meeting the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ Mandatory Eligibility Conditions only except where the termination was done on account of fraud, plagiarism, or any other illicit intention to earn the revenue belonging to any other author.
It is recommended to review the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ Terms and Conditions frequently for updates.
You are responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes related to your participation and revenue earned in the ‘Partner Author Initiative’. These taxes may include all different types of applicable taxes as well as any associated penalties or interest, if any.
Upon crossing limits of payment beyond the prescribed limit for TDS under the Indian Income Tax Act, the TDS will be deducted by People’s Reflections from the payouts of Authors and the same will be deposited with the Government.
People’s Reflections terms of service governing law, mandatory forum, and dispute resolution provisions apply to the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ as well.
You participate in the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ at your own risk and are responsible for your actions and any breaches of the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ Terms and Conditions.
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is required for the referral program, when introduced.
If any particular words are used in this ‘Partner Author Initiative’ terms and conditions without being defined, their meaning can be found in People’s Reflections Terms and Conditions. The terms of service for People’s Reflections still apply, except for any changes made in this ‘Partner Author Initiative’ Terms and Conditions.
People’s Reflections reserves the right to modify or revise the terms and conditions which includes the ‘Partner Author Initiative’ Terms and Conditions.
